Terms & Conditions

Booking Requirements:

  1. Bookings can be made by e-mail to wakaonavon@gmail.com

  2. All group bookings must be confirmed in writing by return email  from “Waka on Avon”.

  3. Due to health and safety risks infants are recommended to not book onto the waka cruise.

  4. Please state any special needs or requirements when making the booking.

  5. Cancellations that are made 12 hours prior to a booking will not be charged. Cancellations or no shows within 1 hour of a booking will be charged 100% of the total cost of the booking.


  1. Vouchers must state the following: a) date of visit b) number of adults and children c) booking type/code i.e. Waka On Avon. 

  2. Vouchers must be presented to and left with our onsite staff at the Margaret Mahy Playground bookings Kiosk

  3. Any changes to the vouchers must be amended on the voucher and signed by the approved 


  1. The attached rates are valid from 01 October 2020 through to 30 September 2021.

  2. All prices are in NZ$. and are shown GST inclusive and GST exclusive

  3. Rates are subject to booking availability and confirmation.

  4. The rate type accepted is to be indicated


Groups & Schools Payments:

  1. Vouchers will not be returned with our invoices unless otherwise arranged.

  2. Our terms are; payment of invoice on the 20th of the month following the date of invoice.

  3. If credit taken exceeds 45 days after the month of invoice, we reserve the right to withdraw credit terms effective immediately and the trade/agent account.

  5. Payments by Credit Card will incur a 2% service fee
